Turkish Machinery visited Industrial Transformation Africa Fair, held in Casablanca, Morocco, from 29 September to 1 October 2026. The Association was represented at the fair by Chairperson Sevda Kayhan Yılmaz and Board Member Beril Bülbüloğlu.

As part of the fair, Chairperson Sevda Kayhan Yılmaz took part as a speaker in the forum held during the event.
As part of promotional activities throughout the fair, the Machinery Exporters’ Association contributed to increasing the visibility of the Turkish machinery sector through advertisements featured on event lanyards and visitor badges.
During the Industrial Transformation Africa visit, meetings and exchanges focused on existing and potential areas of cooperation in the Moroccan and broader African markets.
Morocco represents a market with significant growth potential for Türkiye, both in overall trade and particularly in the machinery sector. While Morocco’s total machinery imports reached approximately USD 9.6 billion in 2025, Türkiye’s share in this market remained at around 4.1%, indicating considerable room for further expansion for the Turkish machinery industry. In 2025, Morocco’s machinery imports increased by 17.8%, while Türkiye’s machinery exports to Morocco rose by 12% to USD 396.3 million. In particular, the relatively limited level of Türkiye’s current exports in product groups where Morocco records substantial import volumes — including valves and fittings (USD 236.7 million), special-purpose machinery (USD 218.9 million), centrifugal pumps (USD 169.3 million), water filtration and purification equipment (USD 140.1 million), and packaging machinery (USD 68.7 million) — points to significant potential for increasing exports and gaining additional market share in these segments.
